Alabama:
My Florida cousins were getting a piano and had to drive to Alabama to get it. We also stopped and ate at Golden Corral.

Alaska:
My grandpa loves to fish and every year he goes Halibut fishing in Alaska and one year a few of my cousins went along.

Arizona:
I have 4 cousins that live here and every handful of years we drive down to visit them.

California:
In California i’ve been to Disneyland, San Diego, San Fransisco and other places. If you ever drive down the coast from Seattle, don’t go through the Redwoods. It’ll add so much time onto the drive.

Florida:
I have 5 cousins that are from here. They live right across from the ocean and whenever i’m there that’s where you can find me. My cousins also took me paddle surfing here which is so much fun once you are actually able to stand on the board.

Georgia:
In high school for DECA nationals me and a group of kids from my high school went to Atlanta for a week and had the time of our lives. On the train from the airport I got attacked by a homeless guy in a wheelchair, we almost got mugged, and we only went to the opening ceremony for DECA. We just kinda blew off all of our obligations and just explored.

Hawaii:
My grandparents took my cousins and I to Hawaii one summer and we explored the islands, went snorkeling, and went to a real luau. In Honolulu we were at our hotel, the boys and girls had separate rooms and being boys we got into trouble. My cousins TJ, Andy, and I started actually throwing things off of the balcony. Things like ice cubes, pennies, and water balloons. I think we were 15 stories up. So after we’re done we get into bed and 15 minutes later there’s a knock at the door. I instantly felt sick to my stomach as my Grandpa opened the door. There that stood in the doorway was the hotel manager and these 2 HUGE Polynesian dudes. They started asking my grandpa if he saw us throwing things off, but luckily we were sly enough that he didn’t. So he said he didn’t know anything. Then the hotel manager said it was a felony in Hawaii to do that and left. Scariest thing ever.

Idaho:
It’s Idaho, nothing much happens here. But my Senior year of high school me and other student government kids drove to Idaho and we dug for sugar beets for the opening assembly for the school year. The tradition is to chop off a top of the beet and take a bite of it in front of the school. When it was my turn I chopped off the top and I wasn’t looking where I was biting and I bit into a clump of dirt. Tasty.

Illinois:
My stepdad is a bodybuilder and he had a competition in Chicago. My mom brought me and my stepsister along and we chilled in Chicago.

Montana:
Much like Idaho, nothing much going on here. I do remember going to an awesome wolf thing in West Yellowstone though.

Nevada:
In Nevada I went to sin city, and boy did I sin! My aunt put a quarter in a slot machine and she let me pull it when I was 12, biggest rush ever.

Oregon:
My mom and I passed through Oregon on my 2015 Spring break trip. It’s a weird but extremely beautiful place. We drove through Portland because we were short on time and I wish we stopped and checked it out! We ended up staying in this motel that smelt like urine in Grants Pass and it was awful. Fun fact: You can’t pump your own gas here.

Tennessee:
I had a layover here on my way to see my cousins in Florida. I was 15 and was flying by myself, and I guess you need to be 16 to fly by yourself so we had to have the airline watch over me. Anyways, we land in Tennessee and the airline walked me to this room, it had big windows that looked out at the airplanes. So they took me here and I had to just sit there for 2 hours, I hadn’t eaten anything yet that day so I asked if I could go get something to eat and they said no you can’t leave. So I just sit there waiting for them to take me to my plane. Then some guy comes and gets me and this other girl and he says crap, Ryan your flight is about to leave so us 3 booked it to my gate and they were actually just about to close the door too. This is my kid Jail Story.

Utah:
It’s pretty cool I guess. Sometimes it can get super boring but it is insanely beautiful in this state.

Washington:
On my Spring break trip I spent a few days in Seattle doing touristy thing, Pike Place, Space Needle, and the EMP museum. I absolutely love Seattle, If I could move here I would.

Wyoming:
I’ve been to Evanston to buy fireworks like most Utahns do. I’ve also been to Yellowstone a few times. There’s this thing called Bear World and it is this gated thing you drive through and there’s just bears running around. It was super sick!

____________________ Countries______________
Canada:
On my Spring break trip we went to Vancouver. Next to Seattle if I could move anywhere it would be here. The people are really friendly and their money is colorful. At our hotel they had curling on tv, totally Canadian right? I sat down and watched it because why not? My mom hit a curb and popped a tire in our rental car and I had to change it on the side of the road in Stanley Park. In high school I took an auto shop class so I somewhat knew what I was doing, but I had never actually had to use a jack and lug-nut remover. I changed the tire and saved the day, that’s actually one of my proudest moments.

Mexico:
I went on a Disney cruise to Mexico and we had time to kill in one of the ports. The cruise line actually had a group of kids that were going surfing so I went with them. There was this nice Mexican guy that was teaching all of us, he’d stand in the water and hold the boards for the kids to get on. I ended up just surfing on my stomach on the surfboard and I caught a wave and I was going, then the wave started to crash and I went straight into the sand and some part of my face was bleeding because the board actually came and smacked me in the face.
